1. About BoringAccounting
BoringAccounting provides one-off financial clean-up and insight services to owner-operated businesses.Our services are designed to improve financial clarity, identify cost leaks, and highlight revenue patterns based on the information provided.

We do not provide tax advice, legal advice, regulated financial advice, or ongoing bookkeeping services.

2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years old
• You are authorised to act on behalf of the business
• You have permission to grant access to relevant financial systems and records
• All information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge

3. Scope of Services

30-Day Book Clean-Up

Where purchased, this service includes a one-off clean-up and restructuring of your accounting records based on agreed scope.

Revenue Health Check (Optional Add-On)

Where purchased, this service provides insight-only analysis to identify revenue leaks, cost inefficiencies, and potential improvement areas.

Important:
The Revenue Health Check is observational only
• No implementation, execution, or validation work is included
• No recommendations constitute financial, legal, or tax advice

All services are delivered as described at the time of purchase.

4. No Guarantees or Outcomes
While we aim to provide high-quality analysis and clarity:
• We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes
• We do not guarantee profit increases, cost savings, or revenue growth
• Any figures provided are estimates based on available data

Business decisions remain your responsibility.

5. Fees & Payment
• All fees are clearly stated before engagement
• Fees are payable upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Fees are non-refundable except where explicitly stated

Revenue Health Check Refund Policy

If the Revenue Health Check does not identify opportunities equal to at least the value of the fee (based on available data), a full refund will be issued for the Health Check only.

6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide timely access to required systems and information
• Respond promptly to reasonable requests during delivery
• Use insights responsibly and independently assess any actions taken
• Ensure ongoing compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory obligations

Delays caused by missing or incomplete information may affect timelines.

7. Data Protection & Confidentiality
We comply with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
• Your data will only be used to deliver the agreed services
• We will not sell or share your data with third parties
• All client information is treated as confidential

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• BoringAccounting is not liable for any losses arising from decisions made using our insights
• We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.

9. Intellectual Property
All reports, templates, methodologies, and materials provided remain the intellectual property of BoringAccounting unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may use deliverables internally within your business but may not resell or distribute them.

10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:
• There is misuse of our services
• Information provided is materially misleading
• There is a breach of these Terms

In such cases, fees already paid may not be refundable.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
